Homoly Design + Build Featured on the Cover of DesignKC Following Project of the Year and National Builder of the Year Recognition

Homoly Design + Build is honored to see the Lee Boulevard Residence featured on the cover of the latest issue of DesignKC Magazine, along with an in depth feature inside the magazine highlighting the home’s craftsmanship, design, and collaboration. The project was also recognized as DesignKC’s Project of the Year, making the recognition especially meaningful for our entire team.

In addition to the Lee Boulevard Residence feature, the magazine also included a dedicated section highlighting Homoly Design + Build being named National Custom Home Builder of the Year. For our team and family, this recognition represents decades of hard work, relationships, and a continued commitment to building luxury custom homes with a high level of care and craftsmanship throughout Kansas City and Overland Park.

Recently, Mason Homoly joined Denise and Keith from DesignKC on KCTV5 to discuss the Lee Boulevard project, the story behind the home, and what it meant for Homoly Design + Build to receive both local and national recognition.

During the interview, Mason shared a personal story from the night Homoly Design + Build was named National Custom Home Builder of the Year. As Mason and his father, Andrew Homoly, walked onto the stage together to accept the award, a photographer captured a candid moment of the two embracing after hearing their name announced.

What made the photo especially meaningful was the watch Mason was wearing during that moment. The watch belonged to his grandfather, Guy Homoly, who started the company years ago and laid the foundation for what Homoly Design + Build has become today. In a single photo, three generations of the Homoly family were represented together through Mason, Andrew, and Guy. It became a reminder that while awards and recognition are meaningful, the legacy behind the company is what matters most.
